Plus Two result: 84.33% passed

Kasaragod: The results of the Plus Two exams which were conducted in the month of March in Kerala were released on Wednesday. Altogether 3,69,238 students attempted the exam of which 3,11,375 students have passed brining the pass percentage in the state to 84.33%. The pass percentage in Kasaragod district is 79.12%.

Last year, the pass percentage was 83.75% and this year’s result is better in comparison to the previous year’s result. Kallikote district has achieved the highest result with a pass percentage of 87.44%. Puttanatitta district garnered the least result with a pass percentage of only 78%. All the students of the 79 schools in the state have passed.

The pass percentage in government schools, aided school and unaided schools is 83.36%, 86.36% and 77.34% respectively. 14.244 students in the state have achieved A+ in all the subjects. 1,795 students in Kasaragod district achieved A+ grade. 183 students have scored 1,200 marks in 1,200. Malappura district gas achieved the highest number of A+ grade.

The pass percentage in vocational higher secondary, THSE and AHAE is 80.07%, 69.76% and 93.95% respectively. 23 scholls have achieved 100% result in vocational higher secondary. 63 students managed to achieve A+ grade in all the subjects.

June 10-17 SAY exam

Those attempting ‘Save a Year’ (SAY) examination must submit their applications before May 15th. SAY exam will be held from June 10th to 17th. Practical exams will be conducted on May 30th and 31st.

The last day to submit applications for re-evaluation, cyclostat copy and detailed correction is May 15th. Plus One classes will begin from June 3rd.

Little Flower Higher Secondary School Kanhangad, Marthoma Higher Secondary School for Deaf in Kasaragod district and other schools have achieved 100% results.
