Wristwatch trader files complain after being falsely projected as terrorist

Bengaluru: Elederly person who has been earning his living by selling, repairing watches for the last 20 years, found himself being falsely projected as a terrorist on TV channels.
Riyaz Ahmed who became the victim on false reporting was looked upon as anticipation after his photo was aired on a few Kannada TV channel on Wednesday, May 8.
As the news went viral, Ahmed rushed to the police station with his family members and friends saying that he is not a terrorist and the news may pose a problem for him and filed a complaint against a TV Channel for falsely airing news projecting him as a suspected terrorist.
Speaking on the issue Riyaz said that all those who wear a long shirt (pizama) and grow a beard are not terrorists.
He further added that after the news channels aired his photo everyone started suspecting him, as a result, his life is in danger.
