Mangaluru: The police teams which have been investigating the horrific murder of Shreemathi Shetty, have got some important clues and have taken some suspected persons into custody for questioning.
The police have questioned Shreemathi’s current husband, Sudeep regarding the case. Sudeep faces several cases of theft in various police stations in the city is at present an under-trial prisoner relating to these cases.
The police personnel stated that Sudeep was questioned on the pretext of information that he was threatening his wife, as she was trying to get a divorce.
The police, from the CCTV footages, have found that Shreemathi who usually commutes by car to her electrical repair shop near KMC Attavar, used her scooter on Saturday morning and took a rather unusual route to reach her workplace. The police also think that Shreemathi’s killer would have used her scooter to scatter the pieces of her body after brutally murdering and butchering her.
