Undertrial prisoner dies under mysterious circumstances in Shivamogga central jail

Shivamogga: In a shocking incident an undertrial prisoner in the Central Prisons in here died under mysterious circumstances on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Irfan (30), who was a resident of Bhadravati.
As per the sources, Irfan felt uneasiness and was rushed to McGann Teaching Hospital in the wee hours of Thursday. However, he died at around 8 AM.
Following his death is relatives staged a protest at the hospital and accused the jail authorities of negligence.
Irfan was arrested under POCSO Act in Sagar last year.
