Hindu Maha Sabha leader arrested for celebrating Godse’s birthday

Mangaluru: The police arrested the leader of All India Hindu Maha Sabha Rajesh Poojary on the charges of celebrating the birthday of Nathuram Godse inspire of the prevailing controversies on Godse in the country.

Hindu Maha Sabha celebrated Godse’s birthday and offered floral tributes to his portrait on May 19th. State president of Hindu Maha Sabha L K Suvarna also took part in this celebration, which took place at one Vishwanath at Ashraya Colony.

Ullal police registered as suo moto case against five people in this connection and the accused include state convener of Hindu Maha Sabha Rajesh Poojary, chief secretary of All India Hindu Maha Sabha Dharmendra and activists Vishwanath Poojary and Lohith. Rajesh Poojary has been taken into custody for interrogation by the police.
