CET results announced

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) on Saturday.
Jeffin Biju from Chaitanya Techno, Marathahalli topped CET Engineering. He was also the state CBSE Class 12 topper for 2019.
Mahesh Anand from the same school topped BNYS (Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) and BVSc in Veterinary Science.
Girls topped the BSC (Agriculture) course and Pharmacy.
The KEA announced that the government will reimburse the college fee of top 5 rank holders of all the five courses.
The results can be accessed on the KEA website – http://kea.kar,nic.in, http://cet.kan.nic.in and http://karresults.nic.in at 1 pm.
A total of 194308 candidates had applied for CET this year, of which, 180315 (92.79%) students appeared for the examination held across 431 centres in the State on April 29 and 30 this year.
The number of candidates eligible for ranking in various courses are as follows: 140957 in Engineering and Technology courses, 113294 in Agriculture, 118045 in Veterinary Sciences, 117947 in Naturopathy and 146546 in B.Pharma and Pharma.D.
