Die-hard Nikhil fan chops inked finger

Mandya: In a shocking incident, a man who was unable to digest Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s electoral loss cut his finger here after Lok Sabha results were announced.

The man, Sunil a resident of Maddur is a JD(S) supporter and happens to be a die-hard fan of Nikhil Kumaraswamy. After coming to know of Nikhil’s defeat, Sunil cut his inked finger.

Nikhil who contested from Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency was defeated by Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh with a margin of over one lakh votes.

A case with regard has been registered with the Koppa police.
