Mangaluru: After winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP should focus on fulfilling promises made in 2014 elections, said district in-charge minister U T Khader on Saturday, May 25.
“Earlier during 2014 elections, several promises were made including crediting Rs 15 lakh to people’s bank accounts. None of the promises were fulfilled. We are now hoping that those unfulfilled promises will be fulfilled in the second term. Prices of LPG and oil should come down. Measures have to be taken for employment generation in the country,” said the minister.
Will complete full term
“Our coalition government is safe and there is nothing like BJP has claimed. We are confident of completing the five-year term successfully,” he claimed.
“Three-time MP Nalin Kumar should be given a minister’s post in Modi’s cabinet. It would be better if he is given Urban Development department which will be helpful for me to coordinate with him for the development of the district,” observed Mr Khader.
