Hero introduces Splendor Plus Special Edition at Rs.55,600

Hero has launched a new Special Edition variant of Splendor Plus, on celebrating the model’s 25th anniversary. The ‘25 years special edition’ Splendor Plus has been priced at Rs.55,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It has started reaching dealerships in Delhi, Haryana and will be soon available in all Hero showrooms across India.
Hero Splendor Plus ‘25 years special edition’ model gets unique graphics with a special colour tone of black with yellow and orange paint scheme. The additional features of the Special Edition model include a USB charger, black-finished alloy wheels along with the special edition badges on the side panels. The bike is based on the regular Splendor Plus top-spec model and so features Hero’s patented i3S technology and the Integrated Braking System (IBS).
Mechanically, the Splendor Plus Special Edition model remains the same with the single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 97.2cc that produces 8.36PS power and 8.05Nm of torque. The engine gets mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The top speed of the engine is 87kmph and the claimed ARAI mileage is around 80kmpl.
Hero Splendor Plus is one of the best selling bikes in India which takes on the likes of all the other bikes in its segment including TVS Sport, Bajaj Platina and CT 100 models.
