‘Singham’ Annamalai resigns from service

Bengaluru: Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru South, Annamalai has reportedly submitted his resignation from the Indian Police service, on Tuesday.
However, it will take some time for the official process to be over he added’ informed sources.
As per the sources, Annamalai will be going back to his native state and spend some quality time with his family.
Annamalai, who is also called Singham of Karnataka is a BE and MBA graduate and had cleared IPS in the year 2011. He started his career as an ASP in Karkala in Udupi district and later was posted in key districts like Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Bengaluru as the head of the police.
There have been rumours that Annamalai was contemplating resigning from service as he nurtures political aspirations. However, Annamalai had refuted the same.
