Watch: Fire breaks out at F&B outlet in KIA, triggers panic

Bengaluru: A fire broke out at a food stall inside Kempegowda International Airport premises, on Wednesday early morning triggering panic among passengers and employees.
As per sources, the fire broke out at a food and beverage outlet, near the parking area away from the terminal, suspectedly due to a short circuit. No casualties were reported in the incident and it did not lead any disruption in flight services.
Airport staff rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
“An in-depth fire-safety audit is being carried out. The affected area has been cordoned off and temporarily closed,” stated a spokesperson for Bangalore International Airport Limited.
