Kalburgi murder case: Prime accused arrested

Bengaluru: The prime accused in the murder case of renowned scholar and progressive thinker M M Kalburgi was Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Hubballi.
The SIT after receiving information from Amol Kale, one of the accused in the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh, conducted the search operation and arrested Krishnamoorthy in Hubballi.
As per the sources, Krishnamoorthy was riding the motorcycle on which Ganesh Maskin, who shot Kalburgi, was riding pillion.
It is also gathered that the footage recovered from CCTV cameras match with the faces of Ganesh and Krishnamoorthy.
Krishnamoorthy has been brought to Bengaluru from Hubballi and is being interrogated by the SIT, informed sporces.
