Bantwal police nab drug peddler; seize ganja worth Rs 40k

Bantwal: Acting on specific information, the Bantwal police arrested a drug peddler and seized 1.896 kg ganja valuing around Rs 40,000 from his possession.
The arrested identified as Samshuddin, 25, is a resident of Kukkaje in Manchi village. A team of Bantwal cops led by ASI Chandrashekhar H V arrested him from near a garage in B Mooda village.
During questioning, Samshuddin revealed that he got the ganja from a person, named Misba of Ullal with the help of another Uppinangady man.
