Duo arrested for abusing HDK, HDD on video

Bengaluru: Two persons were arrested by the High Grounds police for shooting a video verbally abusing JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda, Chief Minister H.D. Kumarswamy and his son Nikhil, and uploading it on Facebook.

The arrested are Siddaraju (29), hailing from Ramanagara district, and Chamaraju (24), from Singarajpur in Channapatna. While Siddaraju is employed at a petrol bunk, Chamaraju is a mechanic.

The duo shot the video after May 23 Lok Sabha election results, in the video both are seen using abusive language and the same went viral on social media.

Following the incident, a complaint was filed at the High Grounds police station by Lokesh, calling for action against miscreants. After the complaint, the police traced and arrested the culprits.
