HDK has directed to hire guest teachers for English medium: Bhoje Gowda

Mangaluru: MLC SL Bhoje Gowda informed that Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has directed the government schools, which have admitted more than 30 students to the class I English medium from this academic year, to hire additional teachers if required.
Addressing a function of the Dakshina Kannada Pre University College Principals’ Association, Bhoje Gowda said that Kumaraswamy, in a recent meeting, directed officials from the Education Department to withdraw the circular issued on June 1 restricting the admission of students to 30 and to send the excess students to Kannada medium.
He further added that good response has been received from the people for the government’s decision to open English medium in 1,000 government in rural areas where people are keen on providing affordable English medium education to their children.
