Ullal: The never ending work on Thokkottu flyover along NH 66 has been completed and is expected to be opened for traffic on June 13th. The work on the flyover began 8 years back, which progressed with the pace slower than a snail, however was completed after scores of dud assurances on June 9th.

The inauguration of the completed flyover was supposed to be on June 10th, but was postponed due to the transfer of officials from the Highway Department and because of the problems regarding Ullal cross road. The next date for inauguration was expected to be decided only after June 14th.

But now, MP Nalin Kumar has all of a sudden decided to inaugurate the flyover at 9 am on Thursday June 13th.
