Tata Tigor has been offered with two new AMT variants – XMA and XZA+, in addition to its existing XZA AMT variant. Tata Motors has priced the new Tigor XMA at Rs.6.39 lakhs and the Tigor XZA+ at Rs.7.24 lakhs (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

Tata offers the AMT option only for the Petrol variants of the Tigor, while the Diesel AMT version is anticipated to be offered sometime in the near future. Hence, both the XMA and XZA+ variants come powered by the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, revotron petrol engine mated to a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The engine produces peak power and torque outputs of  84bhp @ 6000rpm and 114Nm @ 3500rpm respectively.

In terms of equipment, the XMA variant of Tigor gets all the features of the XM trim including the reverse parking sensors, a foldable centre armrest in the rear seat with cup holders, a Harman sound system with Bluetooth connectivity along with safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobiliser and speed-dependent auto door-locking function.

Likewise, the Tigor XZA+ is based on the XZ+ variant and features dual-chamber projector headlamps, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and electronically-folding ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators along with a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play and an 8-speaker Harman sound system.
