Three years pass since Trasi mishap

Kundapur: Three years have passed since the occurrence of the tragic accident along NH 66 when a private bus hit an omni car which was transporting school children and claimed the lives of 8 children. The accident took place on June 21st.

Currently, four laning work is being undertaken here and yet, no safety measures have been implemented at Movadi cross, where the mishap had taken place.

The accident took place at around 9:15 am on June 21st 2016. The lives of 8 students from Don Bosco English Medium School were lost. Four laning work between Kundapur-Byndoor is in progress here yet no safety measures have been taken yet at Movadi cross where vehicles attempt U-turn. The failure to take any safety measures here has left an open invitation for the occurrence of even more possible accidents leaving the people terrified here.
