Water reached Linganamakki finally

Manipal: Since good rain was experienced in the vicinity of Linganamakki reservoir, water has flown into the reservoir for the first time on Friday.

445 cusec of water flowed into the reservoir n Friday. Last time, 5,959 cusec of water had flown into the reservoir from Jan 1st to June 21st. But this year, only 487 cusec of water has flown into the reservoir.

This is the first time there has been such a delay in the inflow of water into Linganamakki, which is one of the important water reservoirs in the state. Last year, the water level on the same day stood at 1,765.65 feet while this year the level is at 1,744.65 feet. The maximum level is 1,819 feet.
