Ready to return to Bengaluru, says Mansoor Khan in video

Bengaluru: Founder of I Monetary Advisory (IMA) Jewels, Mansoor Khan, on Sunday released an 18-minute-long video saying that he wants to return to India, pay back the investors, and cooperate with authorities. The video was posted on the IMA Group’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Khan is heard saying that though he wanted to return to India on June 14, he was off-boarded by authorities, who allegedly told him that he needed to stay where he was.
He never wanted to leave India but he did so because his family was not safe in India. He also said that he was backstabbed by the people whom he had trusted, he said
“Politicians who were close to me were a threat to my life,” he added.
He further told Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Alok Kumar, that his number is the same as that in India. Seeking two to three days’ time, he also asked the cop whom he should meet to disclose the details.
“I will come back and give all the details. I will place before you everything in black and white,” he said.
Khan said he has property worth Rs 1,350 crore, which will be liquidated to pay off the investors.
Mansoor Khan, managing director of IMA Jewels went missing few days back and an audio clip of him stating that he was committing suicide, accusing MLA Roshan Baig of cheating him of Rs 400 crore had gone viral on Whatsapp.
