Around 10 dogs found killed by poison-laced fish in Udupi

Udupi: At least ten stray dogs died and eight other dogs are battling for life after an unidentified man fed them fish laced with poison in Udupi.
Speaking on the issue Animal Rights Activist Babitha Madhwaraj, said that that a CCTV footage of the incident shows a man coming on a bike and feeding fish laced with poison to these stray dogs.
” Some section of people who felt that these stray dogs can be a threat to them poisoned them to death, “she said.
She further added that a complaint with this regard will be soon registered and the culprit will be punished.
Following the incident, a video of the dogs breathing their last amidst the drizzle is being circulated on the social media platform.
