BMTC, KSRTC employees protest will not impact services; officials

Bengaluru: Authorities from the KSRTC and BMTC informed that the protest of BMTC and KSRTC on Thursday will not have any impact on the services.

Speaking on the issue, an officer from the BMTC said, “Additional crew will be used to operate the buses if the regular drivers fail to turn up.”

As the employees of BMTC and KSRTC are holding a protest in the state today demanding the fulfilment of their various demands including salary revision.

Around 3,000 crew of the BMTC will hold a protest at Shantinagar. The KSRTC employees’ federation is organising protests in all the district headquarters which is also expected to affect the services, informed sources.
