Short-term courses at KPT-CCTEK

Mangaluru: The Centre for Continuing Technical Education, Karnataka (CCTEK) at Karnataka (Government) Polytechnic in the city is offering short-term courses in various subjects for individuals with weak financial background, those who have discontinued their education in the middle and for the general public with the aim to make them self-employed or achieve employment post the course.

Computer courses

Basic computer application, advanced computer application, computer accounting programme, wed designing / development, DTP / graphic designing, programming in C/C++/ .NET/ ASP.Net / VB, Java programming, 3 DS Max, Revit Architecture and AutoCAD 3D/2D.

Special courses for women

Fashion designing, garment making including cutting and stitching, machine embroidery, hand embroidery craft, herbal beautician, artificial jewellery making and craft.

Technical courses

Electrical wiring and electrician, AC and refrigeration, diesel mechanic and automobile servicing, process piping engineering, plant design managing system, welding, fire and safety, motor rewinding, computer hardware and networking and heavy equipment operator training (JCB / crane / fork lift / fork land).

Light vehicle driving, karate, English speaking, fine arts,
