Fast-track road projects: Shobha to Gadkari

Udupi/ New Delhi: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Tuesday, visited Minister for Road Transport and Highways – Nitin Gadkari and urged him to fast-track the development of various road projects in her constituency.
In her visit, Shobha requested Nitin Gadkari to look into the proceedings of various projects with special emphasis on the extension work of Karavali bypass to Malpe road and Parkala to Theerthahalli route.
The MP also requested the minister to take quick action to boost connectivity and tourism by the development of Belur-Chikkamagaluru road. The development of Shringeri-Balehonnur-Aldur-Nadipura road and Thirthahalli-Nemmar road was also discussed.
A request was also made to resolve the issues faced by commuters on national highways to the minister.
