Karkala’s Naseera Bhanu selected as civil judge

Karkala: In a rare achievement, Naseera Banu from Nalluru near Bajagoli has been selected to become a civil judge.

Naseera Banu has been selected after she cleared the second phase exam followed by an interview. 2,074 candidates had attempted the first phase examination of which only 52 were selected. Later, only 15 candidates were given the interview opportunity among whom, Naseer Banu was one.

Education

Naseer Banu is the daughter of Aliabba and Nebisa couple from here. She completed her PUC education at Bajagoli government school and later achieved her LLB degree from Vaikunta Baliga Law College in Udupi.

She got her law training with advocate Vijendra Kumar in Karkala and is presently working as an assistant with advocate G Muralidhar Bhat since 2015.
