Los Angeles: Sean Astin has boarded the cast of political drama “Charming the Hearts of Men”.
Astin, best known for portraying Samwise Gamgee in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and Bob Newby in “Stranger Things”, joins veteran actor Kelsey Grammer in the film.
The movie, described as a romance indie set in a politically charged era, will be directed by Susan DeRose, reported Deadline.
It is a fictional account inspired by true events that altered the world for women in America, both black and white, leading to the legal foundation for the Time’s Up campaign today.
The project will be produced by Richard T Lewis.
It is expected to start production next month.
