Former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit no more

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit breathed her last at a hospital today(July 20). She was 81.
Dikshit was keeping unwell for past few months.
The 81-year-old leader held the Delhi chief ministers post between 1998 to 2013. In 2013, Dikshit was defeated by Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Dikshit had been declared as Congress Chief Ministerial candidate for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, however she later withdrew. She was appointed as president of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee on January 10, 2019.
