4 held for illegal cattle transportation

Mangaluru: Ullal police personnel on Monday, July 22 stopped a lorry illegally transporting bovines and arrested four persons from near Talapady tollgate here.

Roopey Mardi, Sumit, Dasharath, and John are the arrested persons.

The police personnel noticed the ten cattle including she buffalos and buffalos loaded inside the Eicher truck bearing Kerala registration number during checking at Talapady tollgate. The vehicle was seized and rescued cattle handed over to Gau Vanitashram Trust at Pajeeru.
