Los Angeles: Actor Cristin Milioti is set to lead HBO Max comedy “Made For Love”.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show is a “dark, absurd and cynically poignant story” of divorce and revenge.

Milioti, best known for her performance in “Fargo” and “How I Met Your Mother”, will play Hazel Green, a woman in her 30s on the run following 10 years in a suffocating marriage to an sociopathic tech billionaire.

Patrick Somerville is adapting the novel and will serve as showrunner, while SJ Clarkson will direct and executive produce.
