GT Devegowda to retire from electoral politics.

Bengaluru: After disqualified JD(S) MLA AH Vishwanath, MLA GT Devegowda announced his retirement from electoral politics.

Addressing presspersons Devegowda said, “I am upset with the present political system and it is enough for me. I am pained and I am not in debt to anyone.”

He further added, “I have served as a minister twice and it’s enough for me. JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and H D Kumaraswamy are like gods to me.”

However, expressing displeasure with the coalition government he said, “I did not even get the portfolio of my choice in the coalition government.”
