Kasaragod: A 15 marks question was mysteriously missing from the examination held for the post of Kannada Assistant by Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) on Sunday Aug 4th.
The question paper was supposed to be for 50 marks, consisting questions for translation from Kannada to Malayalam and from Malayalam to English language. But, the given question paper consisted question only for 35 marks. This only confused the candidates attempting for the job vacancy.
When the Commission officials were confronted the explained, “This is a printing mistake. The printing of 5 marks question as 20 marks question has led to this confusion. Although the question paper has been printed with total marks of 50, the correction for the same will be for 35 marks itself. Therefore, the candidates need not worry,” they replied.
