Hyundai Creta Sports Edition launched in India at Rs.12.78 lakh

Hyundai has launched a new limited-edition model of its best-selling Creta SUV, christened as the Sports Edition. It has been offered only for the Manual transmission versions of the 1.6-litre Petrol and the 1.6-litre Diesel Creta. Priced at Rs.12.78 lakh for the 1.6 petrol MT and Rs.14.13 lakh for the 1.6 diesel MT variants, the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition features a bunch of cosmetic upgrades and additional new features.

Based on the SX variant, the new Sports Edition is available only in two colour shades viz., Phantom Black and Polar White with a Phantom Black roof. The dual-tone colour scheme contributes for an additional amount of Rs.11,000 to the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition’s price.

The feature upgrades on the Creta Sports Edition include a dark chrome finish for the grille, silver roof rails, new front and rear skid plates, a smoked effect for the projector headlamps, faux dual exhaust tips finished in chrome, black coloured ORVMs and a rear spoiler on the exterior while the interior gets an all-black colour scheme, black fabric seats with ‘Creta’ embossing, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, contrast stitching for the seats, steering wheel and gear lever boot, silver coloured AC vents and an electric sunroof.

All the features of the SX variant, including a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, standard dual airbags and ABS are offered for the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition model too. The new limited-edition variants are around Rs.54,000- 60,000 higher than the respective SX MT petrol and diesel variants of Creta.
