Musicians attacked for not singing Kannada songs

Bengaluru: A Bengaluru based band musicians were beaten up at Phoenix Marketcity mall for not singing in Kannada.

Musication, a Bengaluru-based band who does Hindi covers, were the victims of the abuse this time. The incident took place after they had just finished performing at an event. An inebriated man approached them and demanded a Kannada song and the act obliged by singing/ playing it with their instruments unplugged.

Another band member, Anubhav Siddharth, who tried to capture this on phone camera was targeted by a group of 10-15 men. They smashed his phone and attacked him, injuring him in the eye, informed sources.
