BSY visits rain-affected areas of Belagavi

Belagavi: Chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday visited the flood-affected areas in Belagavi district and assured people that the government will construct new houses for those who have lost their homes in the flood.

Addressing pressperson after the visit Yediyurappa said, a team consisting leaders like former CM Jagdish Shettar, KS Eshwarappa, Shobha Karandlaje, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Pratap Simha, BY Raghavendra and CM Udasi was formed to monitor the flood-hit areas and the relief work in the region.

Meanwhile Chief Minister’s Office tweeted, ” Chief minister BS Yediyurappa visited the flood-affected areas in Belagavi district and reviewed the rescue and relief operations.”
