Speaking on the issue Chikkamagaluru District Superintendent of Police Harish Pandey said that Basheer’s car was locked from inside and the body was found on the driver’s seat.
Meanwhile, family sources informed that Basheer had gone to Datta Peetha on August 3 morning with a driver. Later, the deceased had sent back the driver to Chikkamagaluru town telling him that he would return on his own in his car. After this, he was incommunicable for about five days.
