Pawan Kalyan congratulates Keerthy and other national film

Hyderabad: Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan on Friday congratulated multi-lingual actress Keerthy Suresh who bagged the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mahanati, a Telugu biopic on yesteryear star Savitri.

Keerthy Suresh deserves the award for her performance, Kalyan, a top-ranking hero in Telugu, said in a statement.

Kalyan, younger brother of superstar Chiranjeevi, also congratulated other winners of national awards from the Telugu film industry, including Rahul Ravindran for Best Screenplay for Telugu film Chi La Sow.

Kalyan hoped that the awards would help in producing more good films from the Telugu film industry.
