Bomb call causes much fear

Mangaluru: A person who noticed a plastic bag on the road side at Falnir on Saturday presumed it to be containing a bomb and hence, dutifully informed of it to control room post which the cops rushed to the spot and investigated.
During inspection, only garbage and waste was found in the plastic bag and the police assume that stray dogs must have brought the bag there.
Incessant rains continued in the city on Saturday as well and in the backdrop of the arrival of youth leader Dr Khanhaiya Kumar to the city, the cops were alert amidst which the bomb call only created a wave of fear.
