NHAI fills up potholes ahead of CM’s visit

Bantwal: Potholes developed on the national highway between Mangaluru- Bengaluru at B C Road just as the monsoon began, but no measure was ever taken to repair the dilapidated road. But as soon as the news of the arrival of CM was received, they spontaneously came forward to fill the potholes up.

On Monday, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa left from Mangaluru to Belthangady and even before that, NHAI tried to cover up the potholes on the national highway by filling the holes with gravel dust. However, it is worth noting that when the locals had requested NHAI to patch up the potholes before, all they received was a cold shoulder from the authority.
