Rain damage study: Congress team tour from today

Mangaluru: In order to identify and submit a report regarding the intensity of damage incurred in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district due to natural disaster and flooding, a team has been created under the leadership of Karnataka Regional Congress committee’s former minister B Ramanath Rai.

The members of the team include MLA and former minister U T Khader, former minister Vinaya Kumar Sorake, MLC Ivan D’Souza, former MLA Gopal Poojary and 2019 Lok Sabha candidate Mithun Rai.

The team will be conducting tours throughout the district on Aug 16, 19, 21, and 22.
