Compol conducts all agency coordination meeting

Mangaluru: Following intelligence inputs about a possible terror attack across Coastal Karnataka city police Commissioner Dr Harsha on Sunday conducted an all agency coordination meeting.

” Conducted an all agency coordination meeting of all security in charge heads of all vital installations and exchanged notes.. appeal public to report anything unusual along the coast.. any abandoned boat, unclaimed vehicle or newcomers into the locality,” tweeted Harsha after conducting the meeting.

A thick security blanket has been thrown across major towns and cities of Karnataka following intelligence inputs about a possible terror attack, police sources said.

With a heavy deployment of police personnel at every nook and corner of prominent places in the state, extensive checking was carried out using metal detectors and sniffer dogs.
