Vampire costume to help sick children: Ravi Katapadi

Udupi: This year Ravi Katapadi will be wearing a costume of a ‘Vampire’ with the aim to help children who are suffering from ill-health.

In the first year, the costume worn by Ravi Katapadi collected around Rs 1.04 lakh which was used for the operation of Anvita, daughter of Ellampalli Dipan hill Mookambika.

During the 2nd year, he collected Rs 3.20 lakh for four children, Rs 4.65 lakh in the 3rd year used for three children, Rs 5.12 lakh in the 4th year used for three children and in the 5th year, he collected Rs 5.32 lakh and also received Rs 16 lakh from Milap institution which he used for the medical treatment of 7 children.

This year, the amount collected will be donated for the treatment of 5 children including the treatment of Shritan, son of Kushala and Usha couple from Mudabarali, who is suffering from liver cancer, for the treatment of Pratham, son of Ravindra-Yashodha couple from Kalligudde Wakwadi, who is suffering from WBC condition, for the treatment of Kiran, son of Krishnamurthy Acharya-Kushala couple from Panchabettu Hiriyadka, who is suffering from brain hemorrhage.
