Manjeshwar Church attack: Mega protest on Aug 25

Kasargod: In the backdrop of the recent attack on Our Lady of Mercy Church at Manjeshwar, a mega protest will being organized at Manjeshwar on Sunday, August 25 under the aegis of Kasargod zone Catholic Sabha.

As per the sources, the protest rally will leave from near Manjeshwar block panchayat office and end at Hosangadi Junction.

The protest meeting being held thereafter will be attended by priests and religious leaders.

On Friday, August 23 evening an emergency meeting was held at Manjeshwar Church premises to discuss the issue. Kasargod zone chief priest, Fr John Vas, Manjeshwar Church priest, Fr Vincent Saldanha, Bro Joseph Crasta, advocate, Thomas D’Souza, president of Catholic Sabha local zone, Raju Stephen Kumble, and others attended the meeting.
