5 killed after lorry hits parked car in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: In a tragic accident five persons were killed and three others were severely injured on late Monday night after a lorry hit their car which was parked near Savalagi cross here.

The deceased are identified as Sanjaykumar Chadachana (29), Rani Chadachana (26), Bhagyashree Aalagi (22), Shreyaansh Chadachana (3) and Dheeraj (2).

The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kalaburagi.

It is gathered that the accident took place while Sanjaykumar Chadachana’s family was travelling to Solapur to offer prayers at a temple there.

A case in this regard has been registered at the local police station.
