Rawalpindi: Pakistan Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday predicted a full-blown war between Pakistan and India is likely to occur in October and November.
While addressing a ceremony in his home town Rawalpindi, Rashid said that decisive time for Kashmir’s struggle has come and this war between India and Pakistan will be the “last this time” between the two countries.
The senior minister in Imran Khan’s government also slammed the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for not wanting to solve the issue.
The “UNSC would have held a plebiscite in Kashmir till now” if it really wanted to solve the issue, he said.
Rashid said Pakistan must stand with the people of Kashmir.
He also questioned the silence of “the Muslim world” saying Pakistan is the only country standing against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Kashmir is on the brink of destruction due to barbarian and fascist Narendra Modi, and Pakistan is the only obstacle in front of him. Why is the rest of the Muslim world silent over the issue?” Rashid asked.
“Jinnah had assessed the anti-Muslim mindset in India long ago. Those who still think about the possibility of dialogue with India are fools.”
“Imran Khan’s upcoming speech at the United Nations on Sept 27 holds vital significance. We are lucky to have a friend like China standing with us,” he concluded.
Rashid had claimed that any attack in PoK would “change the map of the subcontinent”.
