Bengaluru: After former chief minister Siddaramaiah slapped his aide, Nadanahalli Ravi, in full public view when he tried to persuade him to speak to a caller on the mobile phone, Ravi said, “I am not upset that he slapped me. He did it in a lighter vein.”
Addressing presspersons on the issue, Ravi, a former gram panchayat member said, “Siddaramaiah is like my father. I am not upset that he slapped me. He did it in a lighter vein,”
He also requested the media not to make too much of it.
Siddaramaiah on Wednesday slapped a man outside the Mysuru airport for trying to make the Congress leader talk on the phone.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, a visibly irritated Siddaramaiah listens to the man for a brief while and slaps him in the face.
