Pilikula: Zookeeper commits suicide by hanging

Mangaluru: A zookeeper at the Dr Shivaram Karanth Biological Park at Pilikula Nisargadhama has committed suicide by hanging inside his quarters on Sunday. The deceased is identified as Ashok (24), a resident of Mudigere.
The deceased was working as the zookeeper at Pilkulas since a few years. On Sunday morning, Ashok’s friend had seen him talking on the mobile at around 6 am. But by morning 8:20, Ashok committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.
A case in this regard has been registered with Kavoor police.
