Koppal: A day after Congress leader Siddaramaiah raised questions about the BJP government’s longevity in Karnataka Minister, Madhuswamy on Tuesday said that the former Chief Minister has no right to comment anything about BJP.
Addressing pressperson here he said, “Who is Siddaramaiah to comment on our party? He entred politics because of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda. He has no right to comment on the internal matters of BJP.”
“His own party members have not yet elected him as opposition party leader. Let him first solve the issues within his party and then talk about BJP,” he added.
Raising questions about the BJP government’s longevity in Karnataka, senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Monday claimed Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is like an unwanted child as his party’s central leadership was not interested in him taking the top job.
The former chief minister alleged Yediyurappa came to power through the backdoor without the public mandate.
“He has come to power through the backdoor without a public mandate and against principles of democracy. They did not have a public mandate as they had only 105 MLAs out of 113 required for a simple majority,” Siddaramaiah said.
