We believe the problem will be solved: Girgit movie team

Mangaluru: We have not purposefully made fun of lawyers in the movie. All the characters are limited to be fictitious and for entertainment. We regret that it has hurt the lawyers. We will solve the problem as soon as possible. We believe that the issue will be resolved, said the movie director Rupesh Shetty speaking at a press meet regarding the stay order being imposed against the tulu movie ‘Girgit’ by the Mangalore Bar Association through the court.

‘Girgit’ movie has achieved houseful screening globally. The people have loved are movie and made it a success. But the movie team will adhere to the court order, he informed.

Lawyers had approached the court claiming that the movie had allegedly insulted lawyers and the judiciary.
