Senior Yakshagana artist Puttur Chandrashekhar Hegde no more

Savanur: Senior Yakshagana artist Puttur Chandrashekhar Hegde has breathed his last after suffering a massive heart attack at Dharmasthala on Saturday late night. He was 59.

Originally a resident of Bappalige in Puttur, he was residing in Dharmasthala to work as a Yakshagana artist. He initially started his art service at Sunkadakatte fair and later continued his art at Dharmasthala fair since 12 years.

He is survived by his wife Shyamala Hegde, daughtes Pallavi and Pratima Hegde and son Chandan.
