Mysuru: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a plastic bag on the side of the road in Srirampura on Monday.
Kuvempunagar Police officers visited the site and found that the baby was kept in a plastic bag. Following the incident, the police took the baby to the Cheluvamba hospital.
The police suspect that the infant, who was abandoned on the same day he was born, could have been from an illicit relationship.
Meanwhile, the hospital sources informed that the baby girl is in stable condition.
